Electronic Filing: WV Supreme Court of Appeals

The server room at Law Firm IT reports that the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals has picked LexisNexis File and Serve to implement electronic filing of appeals in West Virginia. The system is scheduled to go live this summer (2006).

According to the press release:

LexisNexis, a leading provider of information and services solutions, File & Serve will provide the West Virginia Supreme Court with electronic filing of appeals, automated docketing and real-time online access to filed documents. File & Serve also provides direct links to LexisNexis legal citations, giving the court a more convenient approach for researching cases.
